The number of 3D social games in Japan is slowly increasing, and Dark Menace from Tokyo-based Grasshopper Universe (not to be confused with Grasshopper Manufacture) is the latest such title.
It just went live on Mobage for smartphones in Japan (Android, iOS).
In a nutshell, Dark Menace is a multiplayer action adventure game set in outer space and designed in 3D. In this case, multiplayer means that up to 3 Mobage users can battle it out with each other or cooperate to kill alien bosses at the same time.
The Dark Menace promo trailer says it’s the Japanese version of the video, so I am guessing the game will become available in English soon, too:
