The Stanford Alumni Association is hosting the inaugural Cardinal Game Jam in Silicon Valley next month, an event that is open to game developers everywhere (companies not based in the US are welcome to join remotely – please see below for a possible sponsorship opportunity for devs located in Japan).
In the words of the organizer:
The Cardinal Game Jam is the first ever hackathon focused on mobile game development, hosted by the Stanford Alumni Association. Come make games with the best developers in the gaming industry! Our goal is to bring together people with all kinds of backgrounds to contribute to game development and creativity. It is an opportunity to push boundaries and collaborate on a fast-paced challenge.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Just bring your computer, toothbrush, and enthusiasm!
I myself will be serving as a judge on the second (last) day of the event and look forward to see cool mobile games created there.
