Final Fantasy Brigade, the social RPG Square Enix started distributing on Mobage in January this year, has reached the 3 million user mark – exactly 310 days after launch, as Social Game Info calculated.
Mobage operator DeNA and Square Enix have co-developed the first social version of the Final Fantasy franchise, which explains the former company’s dedicated press release. The title is one of the reasons why DeNA’s financial numbers have been going up recently.
Final Fantasy Brigade hit 500,000 users just 13 days after launch, one million just two weeks later, and two million in March. In June, DeNA and Square Enix started advertising the game on Japanese TV.
Final Fantasy Brigade is currently available on Japanese feature phones and smartphones.
