Nice win for GREE today: the company announced that it has teamed up with Capcom in a pretty big deal under which the Osaka-based video game company will release a total six social games on the GREE platform by the end of the year.
The six titles are:
- Everybody’s Capcom All Stars (release on smartphones and feature phones: October 25, 2012)
(a social RPG/card battle game with characters from Capcom games like Street Fighter, Ace Attorney, Devil May Cry, etc.)
- Everybody’s Daikoukai Frontier (release on smartphones and feature phones: November 20, 2012)
(a pirate-themed social RPG that looks much like GREE’s own Pirates Age)
- Everybody’s Houkago Soul Hunters (release on smartphones and feature phones: October 10, 2012)
(a social card battle game)
- Dead Rising – The Survival
(a social survival horror game based on the video game series)
- Resident Evil Vs. (covered here)
- Monster Hunter Massive Hunting (covered here)
Unlike the first three titles, Dead Rising, Resident Evil Vs. and the Monster Hunter game will be released on GREE’s global platform (Capcom didn’t specify when exactly).
The “Everybody’s” games are targeted at the Japanese market only at this point.
