Mobage is seeing quite a few titles marketed as so-called “next-generation” social games lately: following social shooting game Macross SP Deculture and social RPG Valkyries In The Twilight, a new title called “Guilty Dragon” is supposed to help bring social games in Japan to the next level.
Despite its stupid name, Guilty Dragon actually looks quite good. The game is currently under development at Tokyo-based CyberConnect2. It will be published on Mobage for iOS and Android by Namco Bandai this summer – in the form of an app, needless to say.
The game takes place on island where players take on the role of a hero who has to find eight pieces of a broken relief in order to bring back peace to the world.
It’s unknown at this point whether Guilty Dragon will make it on Mobage outside Japan, too.
