Mobage is getting a pretty good-looking social horror RPG: Square Enix has started distributing “Sokotsune Underworld” on Mobage for Japanese feature phones today.
The game is using Cthulhu, the famous fictional divinity created by H.P. Lovecraft, as the background for the story. In the game, players take on the role of “university students” who observe strange happenings in “historic ruins” outside their home town and eventually get sucked into mysterious incidents.
Players can communicate with other Mobage users and join forces to battle monsters or look for rare items. During battles, players can summon monsters for support (see the cards below).
Square Enix didn’t say if Sokotsune Underworld will become available for Mobage on smartphones, too.
