The number isn’t impressive as Konami’s, but Tecmo Koei is now counting a total of five million registered players for their social games offered on GREE, Mobage, and Yahoo Mobage.
The “traditional” video game maker is seeing a 27% profit margin in the online and mobile gaming segment. Last fiscal, profit coming from social games increased 66% to $25 million year-on-year.
Titles in Tecmo Koei’s social game catalog include 100 Man Shin Sangoku Musou on GREE, 100man Nin No Winning Post on GREE, and Nobunyaga No Yabou on Yahoo Mobage.
