I am hearing that Konami’s super hit social game Dragon Collection has been losing steam in recent weeks, but the company yesterday announced that it now counts five million players for the GREE title (feature phone and smartphone users combined).
As other companies do, Konami celebrates the occasion with a special in-game event: Dragon Collection players that log into the game are currently able to get presents from gacha machines, for example.
It has been over a year, but Dragon Collection still sits at the No. 1 position on GREE’s top 20 of the most popular games. Dragon Collection hit the 4 million player mark in September.
