Facebook still has no iPad app, but Mixi now does: the company today announced that Mixi for iPad just hit the App Store. I just downloaded the app (for free) from the Japanese App Store (link) and gave it a spin.
The app looks fine, allows access to all of Mixi’s main functions and is certainly better than the atrocious first version of the iPhone app Mixi released.
One feature that is absent is social games: Mixi users can’t access them through the app. And as we’re talking about Flash games, iPad users can’t play Mixi titles through Safari either, so the only options are the PC, feature phone or smartphone.
