Popular Japanese restaurant information service Gourmet Navigator (English website) has released its financial results for fiscal 2010. And business wasn’t as good as in fiscal 2009, it seems.
Sales just grew 4.4% year-on-year, while net income fell a whopping 22% to just 1.8 billion yen. What’s also worrying is that the number of member restaurants fell by 2,098 to 48,129 – among a harsher economic environment and fierce competition by Kakaku‘s Tabelog service.
