Last year, CyberAgent (its investment subsidiary CyberAgent Ventures, to be more precise) launched Startups2010, a program that was supposed to identify promising tech startups in Japan (report on Asiajin – actually the company started in 2009).
And now CyberAgent has announced it’s time for Startups2011: the spring event will be held on April 22 in Tokyo. The goal is to let individuals and early-stage companies with the potential to “go global” pitch in front of a large audience.
CyberAgent says they are ready to invest up to 100 million yen ($1.2 million) in good ideas, just like last year.
