In 2009, Tokyo-based PHIRIA DESIGN landed a surprise hit with the “Bijin Tokei” (hot girl clock) app, which shows random Japanese girls holding up a sign that displays the current time – and nothing else.
The company launched Bijin Tokei on various platforms (i.e. the iPhone) before finally announcing “bijin-tokei for GREE”, an Android app, today. The GREE version can be downloaded in the Android market here and interconnects with the social gaming service.
For example, it lets users notify their friends on GREE when they see a picture of a girl they find particularly attractive with one click (when using Bijin Tokei, users get to see a new girl or pose every minute).
