Japanese Groupon clone Luxa has today issued a report that sheds a light on the combined revenue Groupon and its 190 clones generate in Japan.
Luxa began tracking data in April 2010 (when Piku, Japan’s first Groupon clone, launched).
According to this data, sales grew steadily after April until peaking at 2.4 billion yen ($28.7 million) in December 2010. That number dropped down to 1.7 billion yen ($20.3 million) one month later.
Groupon Japan by itself is said to make up to $13 million per month.
