Japanese web company Nifty (3828) plans to capitalize on Japan’s social games market boom. Nifty today said it will help local social game developers to offer their titles outside Japan.
Services will include cloud computing and support in local payment solutions, translations and advertising. TechWay, Neverland, and Skycraft are the first three Tokyo start-ups that will make use of the offering and launch games in Taiwan, the Philippines and Singapore.
Japan’s social gaming juggernauts DeNA (Mobagetown) and GREE are yet to offer similar services.
In Japan, Nifty is best known for its portal of the same name.
