Big news from DeNA today: Since December 15, 2010, Mobage-town users can access the social gaming platform through a special smartphone-optimized site. This version doesn’t only feature Mobage-town’s community elements but also offers games.
All Mobage-related information, for example friend lists or game records attributed to an account, are shared with the feature phone version. The only game so far is Bandit Nation (aka Kaitou Royale), however, DeNA’s hit game and main money maker.
DeNA also said that in April 2011, smartphone apps (in addition to the new smartphone web-optimized site) will follow, both in Japan and internationally. The international version will be called Mobage.
